The  A N K H

The Ankh, also called  Breath of life,  Key of the Nile or Crux Ansatarepresents the concept of Eternal Life
and  the symbol of wisdom and insight on the highest level...

* In Ancient Egypt the Ankh was the Key to unraveling the mysteries of life and death...

The Ankh was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "LIFE"  which is the general meaning of the symbol...

The circle symbolizes eternal life and the cross below it represents the material plane...

The Egyptian Gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. The ankh appears in hand or in proximity of almost every deity in the Egyptian pantheon including Pharaohs...

The loop of the Ankh is held by the Gods and is associated with Isis and Osiris in the Early Dynastic Period...
As a symbol of fertility the loop also represented the vagina and the line below the penis in union with the vagina. This certainly also reflects the creation of new life not to be misunderstood. This is man and woman in perfect union. By joining together man and woman in perfect harmony, new life is created.
The arms stretching out is said to represent the children created from the unification of male and female.
