Your soul is the absolute Essence of YOU ...
Nisya Shakti
Within our body the soul has chosen
a very beautiful place to reside,

We have the physical heart and inside
the physical heart is the spiritual heart.

This is where the soul makes its sacred temple,
thus our body can be called
"The Temple of our Soul"
 Rijuta Tooker

You don't have a soul.
You are a Soul.
You have a body.

C.S. Lewis

*When we "die", We are just as real
as when We still on the physical plane...
(Channeled words from a beloved Spirit
that I knew in his physical form...)

All human beings are made of material and immaterial characteristics and possess 3 distinct components :

*The body is our vehicle, the house in which we live and our physical component  are made from mineral elements, mostly water... The body is in harmony with  the nature of our planet and deals with the physical realm .  The body grows, matures, get older then older, dies, and then decomposes back into its constituent elements...

*The Spirit is one with ALL and lives eternally... It is a direct fragment of the Divine, the Highest Aspect of who we really are and the only part that recognize the Divine...
*This is with our spirit that we can contact the spiritual realm.

*The Soul can't be seen, but can be felt. It is the real who We are, our "I AM", our individuality... The soul is eternal and cannot be killed... It is the source of power and controls body and spirit... The soul dimension deals with the mental realm, with sensibilities, emotions and intellect. When the soul connects with the spirit, the Divine manifests itself in the physical body and we experience healing power, deliverance, joy, peace of mind, bliss etc...
Just as a mirror, which reflects all things, is set in its own container, so too the rational soul is placed in the fragile container of the body. In this way, the body is governed in its earthly life by the soul, and the soul contemplates heavenly things through faith.
(H of Binden, letter to the Monk Guiber
A large proportion of human suffering occurs because people think they only live once. When they become fully aware that the present life is only one point in the eternal flow of time, and that they have lived in the past and will live again in the future, they will understand that their future lives will depend on their present life and also that  they can choose what kind of life they will live in the future... From the book : The Essence of Buddha

The Dance of the Soul is beyond mere poetry, and when music expresses itself as the dance of the soul it becomes something higher than music...

Man is accustomed to external knowledge, wanting to learn and understand this thing and that, but beauty does not come so naturally, because beauty is beyond all knowledge ; it is intended to prepare man to express his soul... Joy may be expressed by a smile, it may even be expressed in tears, but in all it is the dance of the soul. The soul is an action of God. Nothing could be more expressive. Thus joy is the action of the inner or Divine life, and when it shows itself in any form it is the reaction to the action of God...

The Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan

When you touch the celestial in your heart, you will realize that the beauty of your soul is so pure, so vast and so devastating that you have no option but to merge with it.  You have no option but to feel the rhythm of the Universe in the rhythm of your heart. Amit Ray

The human soul, or self-conscious thinker, perceives the boundless world of Spirit as our eyes see the stars because the human soul is consubstantial with Spirit or Space...  Just as by a single pair of eyes we catch the reflection of the vast starry firmament on our retina, so the self-conscious thinker catches hold of and retains the reflection of the Boundless spirit. This is Yoga. A real Yogi, by the power developed in his own spiritual consciousness, is able to catch and to retain the reflection of the whole of the Spiritual Universe, and then he cries :
"Aham Brahmasmi" I am verily the Supreme Brahman."

In culture after culture, people believe that the soul lives on after death, that rituals can change the physical world and divine the truth, and that illness and misfortune are caused and alleviated by spirits, ghosts, saints ... and gods. S. Pinker

The human soul is God's treasury, out of which he coins unspeakable riches.

The soul may sleep and the body still be happy, but only in youth.
Mignon McLau

Soul. The word rebounded to me, and I wondered, as I often had, what it was exactly. People talked about it all the time, but did anybody actually know? Sometimes I'd pictured it like a pilot light burning inside a person - a drop of fire from the invisible inferno people called God. Or a squashy substance, like a piece of clay or dental mold, which collected the sum of a person's experience - a million indentations of happiness, desperation, fear, all the small piercings of beauty we've ever known.
Sue Monk Kidd

Why do you hasten to remove anything which hurts your eye, while if something affects your soul you postpone the cure until next year ?

Nowhere can man find a quieter or more untroubled retreat than in his own soul.
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

When one tears away the veils and shows them naked, people's souls give off such a pungent smell of decay. Octave Mirbeau

How strange a thing this is!  The Priest telleth me that the Soul is worth all the gold in the world, and the merchants say that it is not worth a clipped piece of silver. Oscar Wilde

Until you know that life is interesting - and find it so -you haven't found your soul. Geoffrey Fisher

The windows of my soul I throw Wide open to the sun. John Greenleaf Whittier,

I simply believe that some part of the human Self or Soul is not subject to the laws of space and time.
Carl Jung

The body is your temple. Keep it pure and clean for the soul to reside in.
B.K.S. Iyengar

The soul of the just man is but a paradise, in which, God tells us, He takes His delight. What do you imagine, must that dwelling be in which a King so mighty, so wise, and so pure, containing in Himself all good, can delight to rest  ? Nothing can be compared to the great beauty and capabilities of a soul; however keen our intellects may be, they are as unable to comprehend them as to comprehend God, for, as He told us, He created us in his own image and likeness.
Teresa  of Avila
What many called "beauty" is simply a Light in the Heart...

The soul is kissed by God in its innermost regions. With interior yearning, grace and blessing are bestowed. It is a yearning to take on God's gentle yoke, It is a yearning to give one's self to God's Way.
Hildegard of Binden

The soul is healed by being with children.
Fyodor Doestoevsky

The Soul can hear the violets grow ! It can hear the throbbing heart of God !

And more than once in the course of time, the same theme reappears: among the mystics of the fifteenth century, it has become the motif of the soul as a skiff, abandoned on the infinite sea of desires, in the sterile field of cares and ignorance, among the mirages of knowledge, amid the unreason of the world -- a craft at the mercy of the sea's great madness, unless it  throws out a solid anchor, faith, or raises its spiritual sails so that the breath of God may bring it to port.
Michel Foucault

You are a beautiful soul hidden by the trench coat of the ego.  Mike Dolan

If you hide things in your soul, don't forget about them. Terri Guillemets

For all good and evil, whether in the body or in human nature, originates ... in the soul, and overflows from thence, as from the head into the eyes.Plato

What he had yearned to embrace was not the flesh but a downy spirit, a spark, the impalpable angel that inhabits the flesh.  Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
